Determine Your Why
The very FIRST step you need to take is to determine your why. Why did you join this business? What do the products or service do for you? Write it out. Keep digging and asking “why?” You will eventually hit a heart-wrenching answer. An answer that makes you stop for more air. An answer that stops you in your tracks and give you butterflies.
The days are going to get hard. There will be days probably within your first month that you contemplate and entertain thoughts that this isn’t for you afterall. You don’t have what it takes. That’s a lie. You will need something strong to pull you back in and give you a reason to keep going. That is where determining your why comes into play.

Declare Your Vision
Where do you want this business venture to take you? Once you’ve determined your why, you need to declare your vision. In order to get started with network marketing, you need to know where you are going. How can you measure your success if you don’t set goals or a destination to get to? Spend some time writing out your vision and then we can move on to the next step.

Design Your Plan to Get There
You have your reason to keep going and a vision for where you’re headed, it’s time to design a plan on how you are going to get there. One of the most important steps that get neglected is to make a plan. You can see the destination and the overall goal, but how are you going to achieve it?
Take that big vision of yours and break it down into smaller parts. If your big vision is to reach the top rank in your company and bring in a life-changing income so that you can help other countries build water wells so they can have clean water what your first step is going to be?
Your first goal is to make your first sale. Start small. How are you going to achieve this? One way you can do this is by telling your story. How did your product make an impact on you? How are you different? Now write that story out and then share it. Share it in person and on social media. Also share it whenever there is an appropriate opportunity.
Getting Started in Network Marketing
Keep putting one foot in front of the other, making small actions each day, and you will eventually look up and see that you have hit milestone after milestone. That is how you get started in network marketing and build a successful business.
