I have seen this statement a hundred times in my online community: “Help! I don't have an Upline!” Contrary to the belief, you CAN succeed without a direct upline. Maybe the person who enrolled you is no longer in the business or maybe she/he just isn't willing to help and lead you. Either way you are fully capable of succeeding and I want to show you how!
The first thing you need to step into is becoming your own leader.
Think about how you want your ideal leader to be. If someone was leading you what would you want them to say to you and teach you? Start doing these things for yourself and your team members. You have to put yourself out there and become that leader you wish you had.
Once you own becoming your own leader, you need to focus on empowering others.
A great leader encourages and empowers others to pull from their strengths and build on their weaknesses. Start giving encouragement to those around you and those you have on your team.
If you are really wanting and yearning for a mentor, find one! Your mentor does not have to be your direct upline. Find someone in your company who you admire and is at a level you desire to be one day, and ask them to be your mentor. If they can't directly be your mentor, then maybe they can indirectly fill that role for you through training videos or resources they have created. You can always find a mentor, you just have to put the effort in.
The most important thing I want you to understand is that you can't blame your upline for you not seeing success.
You should never rely on someone to get you from point A to point B. Leaders and mentors are there to help guide you in the direction you want to go, but they are not meant to hold your hand and do it all for you.
